Tom has also served on on the National Board of Directors for the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO). Tom has served as chair of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and president of the Cal Poly Alumni Association.
In 2015, Tom was presented with the Distinguished Service Award by Cal Poly University.
Tom is also on the AYSO Legal Commission, is a National AYSO Coach, holds a E Coaching Llcense, and is an Intermediate AYSO Referee. Tom is an AYSO Coach, Referee and Management Instructor.
